The new parts are not out of print, and the other new rear suspensions are expensive (more than the purchase price of the car body!), So I thought about overhauling, but in the end I continued to ride.
To be clear, it was fluffy and unstable, and I often felt dangerous when the rear tires bounced and escaped, especially in corners.
I couldn't stand it, so I found this YSS rear suspension on HP a while ago and decided to buy it after thinking for a while.

About two years ago, I bought a used vehicle for touring including use in tandem, and I was riding with the setting with the strongest genuine preload.
At first, I didn't feel any dissatisfaction, but recently the rear suspension has become more subducted, and the stability during cornering is poor, making it difficult to open the accelerator.
In addition, the bottoming out increased during tandem driving, and the muffler was rubbed during cornering.

Before the installation, NSR's diversion (spring rate 12 kg) was installed, so it often bottomed out when the road surface gap was severe under high load.

As for the change after the shock was installed, the height of the car increased immediately after the installation, and the suspension became stiff, and the foot attachment became slightly worse. I did.
After riding for several tens of kilometers, I felt that the movement under heavy load was a little too large, so I changed the link plate of the rear suspension to CBR250 (KY1-F) and it became even better.
Before the replacement (NSR diversion), it was difficult to open the accelerator at the start of the corner because the rear suspension was soft, but by changing to an almost appropriate spring rate, the turning force became stronger when the accelerator was turned on, improving the ride quality. Did.
(As a personal preference when riding with SPADA's normal link plate, I thought that if you raise the spring rate a little and reduce the preload tightening, the initial operation will be good and the foot will not feel bottomed out.)
